Mauro Restiffe (São José do Rio Pardo, Brazil, 1970)
Graduated in cinema at FAAP-SP, he studied photography at the International Center of Photography and at New York University. Since 1990, he has been working exclusively with analogue technology, using 35 mm films of high sensitivity. He is represented in important public collections, such as Inhotim, MG, Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo, Tate Gallery, London, Museum of Modern Art of New York and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, among others. He participated in the 27th São Paulo Biennial. In 2017 he had a retrospective of unpublished works at the Pinacoteca of the State of São Paulo and this year he prepares an individual exhibition at the OGR in Torino, Italy.
